Football
Justus Chadwick
Justus Chadwick is a distinguished athlete from Tullahoma High School, where he was a four-year varsity letterman. During his high school career, he earned numerous awards and recognitions, including 2020 Region 4-AAAA Punter/Kicker of the Year and 5 Star Kohl’s National Kicker Rating. In 2021, he was named Region 5-AAAA Special Teams MVP, had the honor of wearing Eli Grow’s #8 in his senior year, and was recognized as Kohl’s Kicking Week 8 National Player of the Week after a standout performance against Montgomery Central, which included field goals of 43, 32, and 27 yards, a 50-yard punt, eight kickoffs for touchbacks, and four successful extra points. That same year, Justus was awarded TSSAA Kicker of the Year / Mr. Football Award by the Tennessee Titans Foundation, Main Street Preps All-Midstate Specialist of the Year, and was selected to the Division 1 Class 4A Coaches All-State Team as a punter.
Over his high school career, Justus set the school record with 200 total kicking points, successfully made 12 of 17 field goals with a long of 49 yards, converted 164 of 170 PATs, punted 31 times for an average of 36 yards, and executed 139 kickoffs with 101 touchbacks. He also recorded three solo tackles and averaged 4.5 kick points per game, solidifying his legacy as one of Tullahoma High School’s most accomplished kickers.

Basketball and Soccer
Julia Duncan
Julia Duncan is a standout athlete from Tullahoma High School with remarkable accomplishments in both soccer and basketball. In soccer, she holds the THS record for most goals in a single season (37) and for her career (92 goals), leading her team in scoring all four years. As a freshman, she was named District Freshman of the Year (2016), earned All District honors as a sophomore (2017), was District Offensive MVP as a junior (2018), and in her senior year (2019) was selected to the Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches Association Senior All-Star Team and received All District honors.
In basketball, Julia holds the THS record for most career points (2,301) and led her team to their first-ever sub-state appearance, topping the team in scoring and assists each season. Her freshman year she was named to the All-District Team (2017), and as a sophomore, she earned District MVP and was selected to the All-District Tournament Team (2018). Her junior year brought All Region and All District honors along with District Tournament MVP (2019), and in her senior year (2020), she received All State, All Mid-State, All Region, and All District awards, was named to the All Region and All District Tournament teams, selected to the Basketball Coaches Association of Tennessee All-Star Team, and was a Tennessean Female Athlete of the Year finalist. She was also recognized as Tullahoma News Female Athlete of the Year in 2017, 2019, and 2020.
Julia continued her athletic career at Lee University, where as a freshman in 2021 she earned Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Year, was named to the All Gulf South Conference Second Team, received Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week honors six times, and was recognized on the Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Football
John Olive
John is married to Cherie Olive, and together they have three children: Jared, Caitlin, and Caleb. His coaching career began in 1980–81 as a graduate assistant at Carson-Newman University, followed by a role as Assistant Football Coach at Loudon County High School in Loudon, Tennessee, from 1983–84. He then served as Offensive Coordinator at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama (1984–86), and Maryville High School (1986–88), before becoming Head Football Coach at Maryville High School from 1988–92. In 1993, John accepted the position of Head Football Coach at Tullahoma High School, where he led the program until 2021. In 2022, he transitioned into his current role as Athletic Director for Tullahoma City Schools.
Beyond coaching, John has been active in several organizations. Since 1997, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association (TACA), holding multiple positions and earning the distinction of lifetime athletic director. Since 1994, he has supported the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at Tullahoma High School, first assisting Coach Winningham before becoming faculty advisor himself and continuing to mentor others through FCA. A longtime member of Kings Cross Church, John has been a Bible study leader since 1996, first for youth and now for older men. Additionally, from 1998–2008, he was a founding member and board director of the Tennessee Football Coaches Association, stepping down to allow another area coach to represent their district.
John’s leadership and community impact have earned him significant recognition. In 2020, he was named both Tullahoma News Citizen of the Year and Chamber Citizen of the Year. In 2021, he was honored as the Tennessee Titans Coach of the Year..
